MAGIC, Mississippi’s Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration, will be Mississippi State Government’s Enterprise Resource Planning solution. Based on SAP Public Sector® software, MAGIC will replace the State’s legacy administrative systems with a fully-integrated system that:
Ø Provides expanded functionality and data collection
Ø Reduces inefficiencies associated with multiple standalone systems
Ø Maintains enterprise data on a consistent, “real-time” basis
Ø Uses state-of-the-art technology based on best business practices
MAGIC will be implemented in the following two phases:
Phase I Go-Live: Finance, Procurement, Fleet Management, Inventory Management, Grants Management, and Data Warehouse
Phase II Go-Live: Human Capital Management, which includes Human Resources, Benefits Management, Time and Attendance, Payroll, Travel Management, Enterprise Learning, Employee Self Service, and Manager Self Service.
